Mi Historia
I became the mentor I once needed when I arrived from Puerto Rico to the U.S. education system.
Sandra Hernández is a Puerto Rican educator known for her discipline, honesty, and deep sense of purpose. Her firm leadership style, combined with empathy and passion for teaching, has allowed her to positively impact hundreds of students and colleagues across the United States.
She began her teaching career in 2015, working with infants while learning English and adjusting to a new educational system. Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the University of Puerto Rico, a master’s in Public Relations from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón (Puerto Rico), and a master’s in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education (Indianapolis, IN). She is also a certified Life Coach through The Life Coach Institute of Orange County.
Sandra is professionally certified to teach Pre-K through 3rd grade in the state of Florida, with endorsements in Reading, ESOL, and Educational Leadership. Her true mission is to guide fellow educators—especially Hispanic women—toward leading their classrooms with structure, purpose, and personal balance.
She is the author of Lead Without Chaos and the founder of Sandra Lidera, a platform where she blends education, entrepreneurship, and women’s empowerment to inspire a new generation of teacher-leaders.

Sandra Hernández es una educadora puertorriqueña reconocida por su disciplina, honestidad y vocación de servicio. Su carácter firme, combinado con empatía y pasión por la enseñanza, le ha permitido impactar positivamente a cientos de estudiantes y colegas en Estados Unidos.
Comenzó su carrera como maestra en 2015, trabajando con infantes mientras aprendía inglés y se adaptaba a un nuevo sistema educativo. Es egresada de la Universidad de Puerto Rico con un bachillerato en Publicidad, y posee una maestría en Relaciones Públicas de la Universidad del Sagrado Corazón (PR) y otra en Liderazgo Educativo del American College of Education (IN). Además, está certificada como Life Coach por The Life Coach Institute of Orange County.
Sandra cuenta con certificación profesional para enseñar de Pre-Kínder a 3.º grado en el estado de Florida, con endorsements en Lectura, ESOL y Liderazgo Educativo. Su verdadera misión ha sido guiar a otras educadoras, especialmente hispanas, a liderar sus salones con estructura, propósito y balance personal.
Actualmente, es autora del libro Lidera tu salón sin caos y fundadora de la plataforma Sandra Lidera, un espacio donde fusiona educación, emprendimiento y empoderamiento femenino para inspirar a nuevas líderes educativas.
